Yes, I do :) I can't read if the TV is on. Since there is always someone in the house that has one of the TV's one at night, it's distracting unless it's on in another room and the volume is relatively low. I love reading late at night after everyone is asleep, the phone is not ringing, and there are non interruptions.

Not at all! I have multiple books with me where ever I go. I can be at a wrestling tournament and have my nose stuck in a book while craziness is going on all around me.

It depends on the book. If the book is very attracting then I believe I will be totally focused and couldnt even hear anyone or anything around me.

I'm getting distracted by this website when I should be reading and/or writing. My brain is messed up for real right now though. Jet lag.

Especially with work and family distractions. If it is a slow read then distractions will take precedence every time. If it is a juicy read then dynamite wont move me until I get to a part where I can take a break.

For the most part I don't get distracted. This all depends on the book of course and how much my husband is purposefully trying to bug me. When he does this I pretend to ignore him but I feel very annoyed inside.

Only when I'm exhausted, if I have something else nagging at me, or if the book is extremely boring.

No I don't get distracted easily when I read. Usually I completely space out and am able to put everything in the background. I can read and have pretty much a tornado going on outside and not know it.

I don't get distracted when I am reading a book that I really enjoy. But if it is something that I am not really into, I am VERY easily distracted.

I can get distracted by other books. (I borrow a lot from my library at a time.)

Like most it depends on how engrossed into the book I am, how tired I am, and what is going on around me. Typically however I do not have much trouble focusing on my book.

If it's a book I'm really into, I can read it anywhere and through anything. If it's a book that I'm having a hard time connecting to, it takes me forever to read it. I easily get distracted.
