Ugh yes. But I also have kids and very needy birdy buddy that constantly require me to respond to them so that kinda gets in the way. But I don't mind really. I know its temporary and soon enough I'll be missing their constant "mommy look at me!" moments. Time flies once you have kids. Write that down. Or don't. Since I just did it for you.

If I want to. When I read a book I dive all in and have to pull myself out of it.

It depends on how interesting is the book. If there is loud noise in the background I get distracted at times otherwise I am fully engrossed in the book.

When I was a child, and even a young adult (I guess 24 is still probably considered a young adult though, which is how old I am now), I could not focus if the television was on, if there was music, or if people in my family were simply just speaking to each other. Within the last few years, I've mastered the act of ignoring everyone around me while I read. So much so, that people will be talking to me and I hear them but cannot physically get my head out of the book to answer or listen :)

I usually get distracted easily, but reading actually keeps me grounded and if a book is engrossing enough, there's not much that can distract me.

I usually get deep with a book. On rare occasions I can get distracted, but I have to want that distraction or else it's just something I can easily ignore.

I easily get distracted when people are conversing where I'm sitting and reading. It irritates me and I can't focus on the words, as a result I end up reading the same line more than 3 to 4 times.

The opposite. I get so focused it is hard to get me to put down the book. But if it is really late at night I might get sleepy.

Nah! I am usually immersed in the book to the point where I forget time. But if it's intense boring non-fiction, then yes, I will look for distractions on my own.

Depends on the book I'm reading or what mood I'm in. If it's good and so is my mood, then I probably won't be easily distracted.

Sometimes, I get distracted when I read but it depends whether it's worth my attention or not. If I'm too engrossed with what I'm reading, I'll totally mind my book.
