I have quite a few different book markers, but don't go out of my way to get new ones. There are a few that are really special to me and I find that I'm hesitant to use them to actual mark the pages of my book in case I lose the marker itself. I generally prefer to mark where I'm at in a book with notecards or extra pieces of paper.

I unintentionally collect bookmarks. I've received so many as gifts and such over the years and I don't seem to ever lose them or get rid of them for whatever reason. For example, I'm 27 years old and I still have book marks from when I was in elementary school. I think I have at least 20 bookmarks that I rotate through.

I use just about anything as a book marker, I have a selection of the free one's from Book Despository and some my friends gave me as gifts although for ages I used a Jack Daniels leaflet ...

I have really just stopped using bookmarks that are intended to be book markers. As of now, I generally use a tissue or something like that to remember my place  .

Yes, I have like 52 book markers now. I'm obsessed. Everytime I see a new one at the library, I get it.

I love bookmarks. I don't collect them but I keep the ones I get one from the book depository. I've received a few nice ones as gifts over the years and I also have some with nice Celtic designs. I can't read a paper book without one. I hate it when people fold the page instead of using one or bends the spine back really far to keep the page open.

I used to buy a book mark every time I went out of town, or every time a book fair came to town. I had a wonderful collection of all sorts of books marks, and I used to hang them all over my house. I had a whole corner filled above my bed with book marks hanging on the wall. That way, no matter where I was reading in my house I'd always ahve one on hand to mark my spot, and it kept the tassels away from the kitties.
Unfortunately, I lost a lot of them in a couple of moves, and only have a shoebox left. I haven't bothered to put them back up since I moved to this last apt I'm in. I should start collecting again. I kind of miss being able to snag one any time I needed it.

I love bookmarks and wish I could find (and keep) more of them. I used to get a bunch at the library but ending up losing them. Now, I just use an index card but I wish I could always have some cool, pretty bookmark to look at! I will not fold a page down.

I have so many bookmarks, even after I gave more than half away. My favourite ones usually get ruined, though.

Yes I love to collect bookmarks and have a good collection of them. The latest one being gifted by my brother-in-law has an inscription of a Chinese Medallion. I have this secret addiction of collecting wide range of bookmarks. Gives me a happy feeling.
