Do you like to collect book markers?

I started to years ago. Then I lost interest because they all looked the same. Now, they have 3-D book, crocheted, you name it. I think I may add this to my Christmas list. :-)

Yes. I have about 30 of them (it's been a while since I last counted)

I just tear a piece of paper and use a part of that as a bookmark.
Everything gets chewed by the parrot anyway.
Its better than what I used to do: fold the corner down.

To Mom2Grey: Actually, that's pretty much what I do now - some scrap of paper. I do miss the markers, though. :-)

I used to collect them. Though the last one i collected is the one I still use. I used to collect all shapes and sizes, but when I got this one, I never used any other again. I was given this book maker as a gift, it is two magnets held together by a thin backing (mine is of styrofoam) which allows it to fold over the page without damaging it. It is also small enough that you can place it directly on the line you left off on. It is amazing and I have used it for years. So no more collecting for me I guess.

To K-katastrophe3: Really? Do they make these type of markers nowadays? If so, would you be so kind as to include a link to where I could get one? It does sound amazing!

I used to. Once I started getting into ebooks though, I stopped. I used to crochet them if I needed one or was bored. Haven't done it in a while though.

I have many markers, but I don't collect them.

I just use a post-it sticky or the library receipt.

I have an OCD thing with book markers. I have so many different kinds. I always end up using a scrap piece of paper. The one book mark that I do use is very different and I can't find them anywhere now. It's a circle of elastic that connects to a two part magnet. It goes down the inside of the book and around the front cover. If any one knows where I can find these please let me know.

I just use the closest piece of paper that I can grab. I always seem to lose my book marker.

No, I always seem to lose then, so I just use a piece of paper. I hate doggy eating a book.
