I haven't and I don't think it's necessary to do so.

I never have, and I do not see a scenario under which I would. If I want to be rid of a book, I will donate or sell it.

Never! I recycled some books (they were in a bad condition) or gave them away. Burning books gives me bad associations (Nazis burned books). Why burn books when you can recycle??

Burning books have never crossed my mind other than when reading about others burning books. I just tuck the book in a box with books I have read or don't plan on reading and save it for my future library where all they will be good for is taking up space, of course with the intents of reading potentially in the future.

Yes, I have burned a book before but most of the time it is academics books. Once I have passed that academic level I will burn the irrelevant ones.

Never. I have used them for DIY projects and similar things, but in general I don't use to burn things... I have used newspapers for fireplaces when really needed, that's true, but never a book.

No, I have never burnt a book. I would rather donate books that I no longer need than burn them. I can't stand the pain of seeing them burn down.

No, never burned a book. Even books I bought 20 years ago and never read, I still would never do that. To what the original author of this thread posted about burning books, I would have just turned the books into a local public library. I am sure if they couldn't find a meaningful use for them, there are book collectors and private bookstores who invest in books that may even seem "harmful" to others.

No I have never. I once tried but to be honest just because of peer pressure, I could not get myself to do it.
