I want to say no but I don't know how to lie. Yes, I do judge books by its covers ! I'm not a big fan of reading blurbs at the back because I love going into books blind (apart from knowing the genre and the author at the least), so covers are one of those things that unfortunately catch my eye. I can think of a few instances of times I didn't pick up a book because I wasn't a big fan of the cover to be honest

Yeah, the cover makes me pick books. If people wouldn't judge a book by its cover, there would haven't been the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover"! But the cover is not the only thing, I also check the first few pages of the book. If they take my attention, I will read the book.
A good author knows how catch readers on the first page of his book.

I'm definitely guilty of this! I won't necessarily pass up a book because I don't like the cover, but I'm a lot more likely to buy a book with great cover art!

I won't say a book cover makes me pick some book but sometimes it does. Have you ever seen a book cover and all of a sudden it picked your interest? But I'll have to read the description as well so if it doesn't sit well with me I'll not bother reading the book.

I am really reluctant to pick up books that have couples on the covers or a close-up on a person's face. To me, a cover like that translates to egotism (which is most likely just something I connect). However, I do try to push passed that and read the summary and the first page or so. If it grabs my interest I read it, if not, back on the shelf it goes.

I judge books by there covers all the time! Lol. I know I shouldn't, but if the book doesn't have an appealing cover it just won't get my attention.
