Either fantasy or scientific fiction! I have always loved submerging myself into the imaginary.
If there’s a book you really want to read but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it. ~Toni Morrison

YA Fiction and/or murder mysteries. Or YA murder mysteries, which would be my first choice, since it's a sub-genre I find to be completely lacking (teenagers like mystery novels too!)

(In that vein, if anyone KNOWS of YA murder mysteries that are any good, let me know about them, would you?)

I would aspire to write an inspirational memoir. I'd also love to write psychological thrillers.

Romantic comedies. Biographes...of people that inspires. I would love to write a novel or script for a movie or two! Wish I had a mentor to get me going and keep me focussed until the end...I think I will need a translator too to translate it to english.

That is a good question. I would want to be able to write all kinds, but I would have to go with Fantasy or Science Fiction.

Japanese historical fiction. Something with a small petite girl who is tragically forced to slave for Samurai until she one day grows up and takes her revenge.

If I wanted to make a lot of money though - silly romance and/or erotica novels. They are the money makers.

I think that I would write non-fiction. How-to books about parenting or education would be my topic of choice.

On the other hand, there might be a dystopia story in me too.
