I bathe and read together frequently. I usually read on my phone since it's waterproof up to so many feet underwater (thanks for that great technology, Japan). I'd gladly read paper books if I had a bathtub table. I'm afraid I'll drop the book in the water, otherwise, and we all know what a tragedy that'd be! I also have an older Nook that still works wonderfully, but I'm also afraid I'll drop that in the water and ruin it. I don't put much faith in my ability to not be a clutz. :lol2:

I tried once, but it was uncomfortable and I was too worried about getting the book wet.

I don't know how some of you are able to do that? :shock2: Just one drop of water on my books pages and I would probably go berserk :lol2:

YES! A thousand times yes! when I need to get away and not just the normal get away that my books give me by reading in the living room bedroom outside etc. that's where I go. when I am just so stressed that its hard to focus sometimes just sitting in the tub with some nice smelling bubble bath or candles if I don't want the bubble bath is what helps. sometimes it even helps me get past a spot I'm stuck on if I even get stuck at all.

I've never done that actually. Odd... Thanks for the insight.

I have never read in the bath. I would be stressed out trying to turn pages without getting them wet, and I like just to close my eyes and sink in.

When I was younger I used to read whilst in the bath. Unfortunately, I ruined one of the books in my 'The Princess Diaries' box set so I never have since!

That's how my Mom used to get me to take baths when I was younger. Now I just don't take the time for baths anymore, I just shower.

I've never done that. I usually think about many creative ideas while taking a bath.

I've thought about that but wasn't sure how to go about it without getting anything wet or ruined. But, I'll take my phone in with me and sit there texting people, I just keep a towel nearby to dry my hands before I pick it up so you'd think I'd be able to read just fine

No, knowing myself I'll just get the book wet.

:? Absolutely! It feels so good to relax in the tub with a glass of wine and a good book. Its my personal time and I always enjoy it. The only downside is trying to keep water off the book. :|

Yes, I used to love to read while taking a bath, but reading at the time is just something that I got out of the habit of. But I may have to revive that idea. A bath, a good book and a glass of wine..... :techie-studyinggray:

I definitely do! I have dropped the book in the bath on a few occasions, but I think it adds character lol
