Reading is mostly indoors for me. But I can read in a moving bus or an open park too. But preferred option is always within the comforts of the home, where I can frequently source my coffee n snacks.

I mostly read indoors. As much as I'd like to lounge outside in some nice, sunny weather, there's usually a lot of distractions outside and if I'm out there's a reason I'm out and it's to do something, likely physical, so I won't be reading. Plus, while I'm indoors no one can judge me on randomly walking around while I read, haha.

Although, there are many advantages of reading outdoors. But I still prefer reading indoors. For instance, when we read outside, it allows us to enjoy fresh air, sunlight, and the beauty of nature, which can enhance the reading experience. Plus, outdoor settings can offer a change of scenery. But on the other hand, when we read inside, there is a controlled environment with comfortable seating, good lighting, and a quiet atmosphere, which I prefer the most!

oooh I love both! Either reading in a park, laying on the grass, bathing in the sun —or curled up in a comfy blanket while it is raining outside, with a warm cup of coffee or tea ~
I always need some kind of background noise anyway, so the distraction of reading outside don't bother me much.

Some person might say outdoor reading may pose some distraction to them but I personally prefer outdoor reading because for me it depends on the location where I put myself.

As much as I would love to read outdoors, I'm a woman and that means I can't go to the park and expect to be safe. Sadly, until men learn to behave and leave women alone, I'd have to say "Indoors" for me.

I like reading indoors because I'm less likely to be distracted.

I love reading outside during the evening hours when it’s not too hot. Fresh air and warm sun feel so nice. Or if it’s a rainy day then a nice blanket on the couch is perfect.

I do both! One of my favorite things to do is pack a bag, drive to a trailhead, and then hike for a few hours to find just the right spot. I pull out my hammock, nestle in, and read...usually by a lake or stream. I bring drinks, snacks, and spend the entire day reading. The hike back tuckers me out, and I'm ready to hit the hay by the time I get home. There's also something about settling into an oversized armchair in front of a big window with a cup of coffee...and of course a book, while the sun comes up. Isn't that the beauty of reading and books? It just doesn't matter if you're inside or outside!

I prefer indoor reading because it offers me a controlled environment with consistent lighting, a comfortable seating arrangement, and minimal distractions, allowing for better focus and immersion in the material. Additionally, indoor settings provide privacy, making it easier for me to delve into a book without external disruptions.
