I prefer reading indoors.

I enjoy outdoor reading a million times over. There is something so undeniable about the peace it brings.

If I am at home, I read indoors. I love reading outdoors if I am up north. There are so many less distractions up there; no cars, no trains, no planes. It is the perfect place to read outdoors.

I do both! I prefer a quiet place so would go for indoors mostly, but sometimes I have this urge to bask in the sun while reading a book. Also in daily life, I spend a lot of time journeying to and from my workplace. So instead of wasting precious time, I read while in a public bus. That is mostly okay with me, provided the book has me engrossed. But if the book is not that engaging, or I am feeling too tired to keep my eyes open, or if the co-passengers are too loud-then it certainly becomes a problem.
P.S. I once read a book online while sitting on a park bench and while walking towards my home, because the internet connection was not good enough indoors for me to continue reading. And I just had to finish the book!

Definitely indoors for me. Reading outdoors would be way too distracting for me. I need a nice, quiet setting in order to get myself fully immersed into a story.

I like both, but outside is tricky sometimes. Bugs can take you right out of a book. Reading in a tent next to a creek is wonderful.

I definitely read indoors. I have always been a homebody and I don't even like reading in my backyard. I do about 97% of my reading in bed because I can curl up and get lost in my book.

I prefer to read indoors. I'm not much for bugs, and my eyes are ridiculously sensitive to sunlight even with sunglasses. Plus, my house has a comfy couch and comfy beds to lounge on

Indoors in a nice comfortable easy chair, in a nice climate controlled location with plenty of beverages and snacks available.

For me. It would be indoor! That's too beside a window. If the room is totally blocked from outside view, that would make me feel suffocated.
A joke is to entertain people. If it fails to do so, it's something else!
