Truth be told I have just 2.What stop me from buying many books is the fact that,a friend of mine has many and I usually borrow from him at least twice a month.

Do textbooks count too? I actually kept some from elementary and middle school, and most of my college textbooks were available in a downloadable digital format, so I have more than 30 textbooks at home and on my laptop.

I spent all of my pocket money on novels and manga as a kid, so I have more than 200 of them lying around at home. Now that ebooks are a thing, I have about 50 of those too. I'm traveling a lot, so ebooks have become my preferred type of books.

Maybe a couple hundred if you are talking about just books in general and no restriction. If it is the books I personally own, maybe a dozen.
A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it.

The only person who can sympathize with and understand you, is you. So, be good to yourself.

To be honest, my books are all over the place so I can not account for them all. What I can say though is that I have quite a few- it's just to locate them :lol2:

I own a little over 2500 physical books. I have them all organized in shelves, most in my office, many in my den, and the rest in the living room. I also own over 2000 digital books. I have about 67% literature, poetry, and non-fiction, and about 33% fiction, sci-fi, and fantasy. I don't just "read" my non-fiction books, I study them, I take notes on them, I re-read them, I catalog points for research, and I write research papers citing many of them. I'm certainly a book lover. I also have traded in or sold thousands of books that I no longer need to keep to read or study.
