I prefer reading the book myself because I find it easier to get distracted while listening to audiobooks. I feel that with audiobooks I tend to only half listen, however, if I am reading it myself if I get distracted it is a lot easier to pick up where I left off. Although audiobooks are nice to listen to for long journeys in the car.

I like reading it normally, but recently occasionally listen to e-books on long trips. I am also a fan of the immersive reading format the allows you to read and listen at the same time.

I dismissed audiobooks for the longest time, but I got a free three months for an audiobook subscription site and decided to give them a chance. I still prefer reading for the most part, but man, there are some audiobooks that have amazing readers who can bring the stories to life in a way I never could. For example, I thought Elijah Wood's reading of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was phenomenal.

I like the feel of a real book over any other type electronic book, but due to my busy life I love the ease of opening my Kindle app.

Till now I have tried only the real books. I haven't tried listening to audio books, but I would like to try.

I prefer audiobooks only if I'm in a hurry to finish things. Otherwise, I choose paperbacks.

There’s nothing wrong with audiobooks! I love listening in the car or when I’m cleaning or walking and reading is dangerous or impractical. I love physical books and audiobooks and both are real!

I prefer reading to listening as our retention and concentration are not maximum while listening to an audiobook. But sometimes when the narrator is too good or the original author is the narrator, I buy it to listen to it in my leisure time.

Both are good. Reading books or listening to audiobooks depending on the situation and condition. I feel there's no superiority because each has its own uniqueness.

The real thing. I've always preferred it this way . It's either and ebook or a hard copy. My attention span is not that great, I'm pretty sure I'd fall asleep halfway through the chapter.

The real thing! I really wanted to like audiobooks! I thought it would be nice to listen to them in the car or while working out. But it just doesn't work for me, I just can't stay focused on the book, and the pace is just too slow for me.
