I've already got the next book picked out when I finish a book. There is almost no time in between finishing a book and picking up the next book.

Usually I start a new book instantly.
But if I just completed a long series, I might take a few days gaps.

It depends, if I am busy then I will wait. I read when I have no errands to run or anything that will make me feel distracted.

I immediately start with the next book as soon as I’m finished.

I normally take a few days before trying a new book. i feel like a need a bit of more time to absorb the book I just read.

A day or two, or when the next convenient moment is. I don't like having large gaps, as I'll postpone for a really long time.

Oh there is no waiting at all. I usually start another book right then and there. Since, I am usually reading two or three books then yes there is no gap in between. Sometimes when I enjoyed a book too much, it takes me awhile to start a new book because I will be too attached to the novel I just finished.

When it comes to reading there are no rules. I can start another book while being in the middle of the one I am currently reading. I am a multitasker like that.

No waiting! I’m right into the next one. Usually I have more than one book going at a time because I heard that’s actually good for your mind. I can’t prove that, but it sounded good, and it makes me feel smarter.

My enthusiasm to read another book rises right after I finish another, so it takes me short time to move on.

Why would I wait to read another book? As soon as I’m finished with my current book, I’ll try to find another one.

I am on the search my my next book before I even finish the one I am reading. I usually have two or three lined up waiting. Normally, I take a break of only a few hours before moving onto my next read!

With some, I take a while to think, especially if the ending was surprising or emotional. Most of the time, I just jump right to the next one. I also read more books at the same time.
