I tend to read quickly. I can finish a book in a few hours. There are some books I just can't put down and will read into the night and then be surprised when I am reading by the light of the sun rising.

One hour. The longer I read, the more I feel I can read quickly and well.

I'm a very slow reader, so the books that took me the least time are the books that got me reading 24/7 with barely any snack or bathroom breaks. I remember I've read Matilda in one night, and if I'm really taken by them I've noticed I can read books upwards of 500 pages in three days.

I finished Black Beauty in a day when I was in third grade. It's one of the books that got me hooked on reading for life. Many other books followed that book-a-day reading when I was younger. Now that I'm an adult, I like taking my time more, and I try to stretch out books for a longer period of time.
