I've had a book in my hands since I was three. Before I could read, I'd pretend I knew how and would just make up silly stories while I held a book.

I was 7 years old or less when I discovered that I couldn't do without reading. At that age,I would pick up my reader and try to read every single word therein. I would do so without needing any assistance and disturbance from anyone.

I started loving the art of reading at a very young age. I was so interested in reading till the extent that I have to be forcefully taken to the dining table to have my lunch. Reading has always been a part of me.

I started reading books as soon as I started to learn how to read them, which was somewhere around 4th and 5th grade, and when I was 7 or 8 years old. And I grew up becoming a bookworm myself, reading comics, novels, magazines, and newspapers.

I was around five. My dad was late in picking me up from school and my older sister had gone home early because she was sick so I was left with my teacher in the class room. She let me browse some books and I remember not knowing what they said and wanting to know. That was really got me interested in reading.

The following year, I spent a lot of my time reading the books I got from school and even made a friend that way. Though it was an older girl who would help me learn how to read certain words and contractions (e.g. I'll vs ill). I didn't know her name but that support everyday really motivated me to keep reading.
