I am not absolutely sure of the exact age. But I was told by mother that I listened to my older sister reading and repeated what I memorized pretending to read. However, when she pointed to individual words I did not know them. She realized my interest and helped me to become an avid reader.

I found my love for books on my own at age 7 or 8 when I joined a mobile library and would finish the books long before the return date. I was very enthusiastic about walking around on the bus, the scent of the books, and picking my own books. Writing this post has brought back a childhood favorite pasttime which is making me nostalgic. I hope when I have kids they will love reading as much as I do.

I don’t remember an exact age, but I was young. My parents would cuddle and read to me every night. I remember laying in bed reading with my mom on the weekends. We’d take trips in to the library and get these huge stacks to bring home. I have fond memories of scholastic book fairs and Pizza Hut rewards.

I was a teenager when I discovered my love for books. I remember having a collection of mills and boom as well as Danielle Steel and as kids we used to exchange books amongst ourselves. I also remember going to book shops and buying novels with my pocket money.

Probably around 7 when I'd devour my literature books before even the school term began.

I believe I was in sixth grade. There was a story series called "The Green Gardens." I was so into it that I finished it so fast. and I kept reading the books over and over till the covers were worn out.

Around 13. My father owned a kindle and he gifted it to me, because he didn’t have the time to read anymore.

I was about 8 or 9 when I discovered my love for books ! It started when my best friend and I started reading this book together, and then I found myself buying secondhand books whenever I could.

I was 11 years old when I discovered the library, a whole world of new experiences and worlds to escape to, when reality becomes to drab.

I believe I was about 6/7 when I discovered my love of books. I loved having reading books to take home and it wasn't long after that I was given some books by Roald Dahl. I can't remember which one it was but, after that, I was hooked and read obsessively.

From the moment I learned to read. I remember being in Kindergarten, and reading road signs aloud as my family passed by.

I was about 7-8 when I found my real love in the form of books and I know that they are not going to deceive me throughout my whole life.
