I was seven years old, although I had always longed to go to the library from age six. Then when I finally got to go to the library, I could not leave the shelves because I kept finding better and better books and I wanted to read all of them.

I was 10. I used to watch my dad reading books. I would borrow the smaller ones and read them. I found the books my age easier to digest with time. I have never stopped loved reading books.

I was about 7 when my fascination with books started. I couldn't really read the books I had at that stage, but I always took the books and made up my own stories of what I thought they were about, lol. I was about 10 when I finally realized that I just LOVE books. The library was like my sanctuary and whenever I could go there, I did.

I started reading when I was around seven-eight. I was left alone most of the time. So, books were my only getaway.

11/12. But that was not really serious. I got into consistent reading years later. And here I am, devouring books for breakfast. Lol.

My mother is an avid reader. She read aloud to me since birth. It was an evening ritual to have story time before bed. My mom would take my sisters and me to the library every week. We would walk a couple of blocks from our house and bring our red wagon. She let us check out the maximum number of books each. I carefully hunted for my ten books during every trip. I devoured those books each week. So I have always loved reading books, and I still do.

Around 10 or 11? Definitely during elementary school ! Found it because my best friend was a very big bookworm and would lend me her books; her first gift to me was a book, even. We both still read and rave over books, we still exchange recommendations despite the differences in our taste (which deviated as we grew up) and I like to bring her to the bookstores whenever I can. We're both over 20 now.

I was twelve when I discovered my love for reading even though I didn’t know the meaning of most of the words.

I wasn't a reader until I hit college. I took an adolescent literature class, and it was there that I read my first Harry Potter book and was hooked. We were assigned to create a literature unit, and I got to dabble with Johnny Tremain, Fever 1793, etc.

I was about 8 then, I followed a friend to the school library and I was shocked to find so many books there. The first one I read was Koku Baboni (by a Nigerian author) and it was so interesting I kept going back to the library for more. I became close with the librarian and he recommends books for me. Since then I know I've found something I'd never give up doing

I was pretty young, probably around 7 or 8 when I discovered my love for reading. I have always devoured books in one day, even from that young.
