The Bible is a slight exception. I'll reread parts now and then and am amazed at small details. When I first started reading the Bible I had almost no context, so things jump out at me that didn't before. I also enjoy looking at different translations. Just as in modern day words can have different meanings, the same was true back then. So, the words interpreted as "born again" can also be "born from above" (John 3:7 Berean Literal Bible).

Yup, that's me! Not every year though. Usually once every few.PluviophileReader wrote: ↑16 May 2014, 12:37 For example, I know some Harry Potter fans will re-read the whole series every single year!
I notice different details every time, and based on the experiences that I've had during the space between re-reads, some features will have an impact on me in ways that they hadn't before. It's something that you can't really describe until you've looked at every nook and cranny with certainty that you know everything... and then realize that you don't.
I only do it with one or two series though. Children's books can be a lot of fun to revisit too.
