Have you ever started a book, and finished it years later?

Nope. But one did take me almost a whole year to finish. I would read it for a while and then leave it for a few weeks before continuing. It was my first attempt at a long book, and I'm glad I finished it. Eventually.

Just once. There's this book called Black Beauty that I started reading when I was a child. I didn't finish it then due to some forgotten reason, but I did end up finishing it in my mid-teens.

Lol! I’ve tried to read Dickens A Tale of Two Cities soooooo many times, and I think I’ve maybe made it to the third chapter. If you count that, yes. I’ve been reading a book for years now. But I have no desire to read Dickens. I’m an Austen fan.

There is one book that I started to read years ago and for some reason I stopped reading it and I plan on rereading it but I still haven't gotten around to it because I keep buying new books that I usually read right away.

Yes, I sometimes put down a book if I am not in the mood for it anymore. Better pick it up when I can enjoy it more. I rarely DNF but sometimes I do put books "on-hold".

Never, i usually finish it in a day if not two, especially if the book is really good and can't put it down. Which seems to happen a lot.

I have had a few books where I started reading them but couldn't get into them. Then years later, I would start them over again and it was almost like reading a different book. Sometimes you have to be in the right mindset to comprehend a book.
