If an old 1980s horror supernatural book gets a bit too jibber jabber then i tend to skip a huge paragraph or a chapter. The Ceremonies has a chapter or two where they get a bit too much.

I never skip pages, I'll try to read every word even if the book seems boring.

If it's long or repetitive then yes, otherwise I'm reading it till the end.

Yes. I do this sometimes if it's boring but I mostly skip the pages with sex scenes.

I skip pages in books I deem terrible. I will try not to skip even a word most of the time, or I'm going to get confused quickly.

If I get bored with a book or feel like it’s going in circles or just completely drawn out, I will skip pages so I can find out what happens at the end. But, if I truly love a book, i cannot miss a single paragraph. It all depends on the book.

I really get tempted to do this, but I just can't. If a book is so bad that I have to skip pages, I might as well just stop reading it.

Sometimes there would be long discriptions of some boring things and I will skip them if they drag on too much.

No, I am a little too OCD to do that to the storyline (the only time this might happen is when I am about to give up on a book and jump a lot of pages to scan if it might get better OR when it is a book that I have already read and I am revisiting my favorite parts).

I never skip words let alone pages. It triggers some kind of fear within me.

No. If the book is that slow, I’m not gonna read it. Not worth the time when I could be really enjoying something else.

It's really hard for me to skip any pages or chapters. I would rather not read the book itself. But when I have to read but it's boring I skim through it fast but I just can't skip due to my OCD.

I don't know, even when I find a book boring I still make sure I read it like that. Though I might be skipping some lines but still what's the point.

I typically read every word of a book, which can make it tedious if the book is not holding my attention. The times when I find myself skipping over parts are when the story is really gripping and my eyes skip ahead, looking for spoilers! I always end up rereading sections I’ve skipped over. What helps me avoid this is covering upcoming paragraphs if I feel myself aching to fast forward through the scenes.

If the book is interesting and holding my attention, then I read every word. Skipping pages is something I only do if I'm not really enjoying the book and want to get quickly to the denouement.
