No I can never skip anything while reading. Even books I find boring, I would rather stop reading it than try and skim over it just to say I have 'read it'.

The answer used to be 'no', but nowadays I don't really care, if I'm just reading for my own pleasure. I mean no one will know what books I have read and people forget the books they read quite fast (well big parts of the books anyway), so what's the point? Should I say I haven't read a book I read two years ago?

I don't speed read well, so I usually don't. However, if it's something I need to read for class and we've discussed it already, I tend to skip entire passages in order to get through the book quickly. I've never skipped whole pages at a time though.

Rather than skipping pages, I would just stop reading if it's bad. I'm weird like that haha.

I can't skip entire pages, but I can skim through a paragraph if it's not necessary information.

I generally don't skip pages while reading. Why would I want to skip pages if I chose to read a book? However, I do skip pages when it comes to reading a book I'm not interested in at all. For example, books you're forced to read in school.
I remember last year I was allotted to read a book I found boring from the very first page. I mean no disrespect but how is it possible that teachers force students to read books they're not interested in? It makes our desire for reading go up in a puff of smoke.

I skip when the book gets boring. Sometimes I only read the first line of each paragraph. At some point, it will get bad enough that I quit the book. With a good book, I will savor every word.

I am a very fast reader and I don't skip pages of a book. Unless if I'm reading erotica 😜 If I have to skip pages on any other genre I'm reading, then I shouldn't probably be reading that book in the first place.

Not at all. Even if the book does get boring, I need to read it completely and appropriately in order to say why it was boring. And you never know, when the story might just pick up and get interesting. :)

Not at all. However, I usually skip words when reading. I get so tensed and eager to know what's next and just start skipping words and sometimes sentences.

I rarely ever skip pages while reading a book. However, I do not include reading for school as those books were not chosen and I have to read them and most of the time I am not interested in the genres that my English teacher makes me read. There was one book, however, that I picked out, but by the time I finally got around to reading it, my reading level was about at a young adult stage and this specific book was probably a young teen book. The only reason I read it in the first place was because I already bought the book, but I skipped pages because it bored me tremendously.

It happened to me only with "20000 leagues under the sea". I really liked the book but some description are a little bit too long, I wanted to know how does it end

If it is a novel/ play/ poem, I don't usually do this. I read every word of every sentence and sometimes even go over it again to make sure I really understand it. If it is an article, however, I will most likely skim it until I get to a point which I find to be of particular interest to me.

I never skip pages. But if I do it's to the most unbearable book, which I just want to finish it. Never to see it again.
