It honestly depends. I wouldn't mind using the library for medical and educational books. But when it comes to other things like fun books, fiction, and just books you read to relax, I would want to buy.

Owning definitely. I like to read my books whenever and wherever I want. But borrowing is a great concept, until I find a really good book that I can't keep on borrowing. Lol.

I prefer to own my books. I love my library of books. I wish I had an extra room in my home to turn into a library! I love to loan out books to my mom and friends. Sometimes, I read books over again years later.

I most definitely prefer to own my books; I like to re-read my favorite books annually and having to borrow from the library would make this "ritual" difficult.

Both! Library for all the novels and suggestions made, and owning for the ones I write in. If I read a library book that I love, when I will try to find my own copy.

I used to always buy books but with technology and being able to read so many e-books, this is now my preferred method. I have also been decluttering a lot and hate to get rid of books, so e-books helps me keep clutter down too.

I definitely prefer owning books, but when new books come out I'll get them from the library if they are expensive. I wait to buy them used, unless it's by one of my "auto-buy" authors.

The library is a blessing if you’re on a budget. I only buy books if I’ve already read them and really liked them, otherwise I think I’m wasting money on books I’m not sure that I’ll like.

There's something special about reading a book that has been passed from one hand to the next without having any idea who those people are or why they wanted to read the book. I enjoy borrowing a lot for this reason.

In most cases, I usually opt to buy. I like the reduced pressure of not having to finish it within a certain time frame, and then I can give it away to a friend if I don't want to keep it. If I had a memorable experience reading that book, I'll probably want to keep it on my shelf for nostalgic purposes.

I do like owning books, but I don't have an affinity for paperbacks. I prefer owning digital books.
