Old Classic Books

Post by Kajol Dadhania »

Why do you suppose the majority of old classic books have the theme of death?
Imagine if we had no secrets, no respite from the truth. What if everything was laid bare the moment, we introduced ourselves?

Hi Kajol! I think maybe it is because the authors knew the feelings the theme would emerge on us readers regardless of time :techie-studyinggray:  , death is the one thing we all humans have in common, one thing we can´t control. I believe during the time some of the classic old books were written, death was everywhere, because of lack of medical knowledge, wars, plagues, injustice, etc.

Death was probably everywhere and people were dying at a younger age. Even though we experienced death. It is NOT natural. People throughout the ages have sea arched the secret to why we die and the secret to youth. People have been mystified about why we die

I agree with both replies above. Death is inescapable, and it's good for people to understand death since they. will face it in some way, shape, or form. Disney is big on death, and that's for littles!
