I can handle errors here and there, but if I am reading a book and have to slog through misspellings and punctuation typos, I usually can't even bring myself to finish the story.

If there's a lot of them, yes. If there are just a few and they don't affect overall comprehension, I think it's fine. Mistakes happen.

It depends. Punctuation usually doesn't bother me too much, not do spelling mistakes. I do get annoyed when the author writes just a half-sentence or when he/she changes the logic of the sentence halfway.

Errors bother me to no end. Depending on how much I care about the story and its characters, I might continue reading, but the errors will still distract me. I understand if there is an occasional minor error here and there, but if I’m consistently finding mistakes, I will be less forgiving.

If there are a few errors spotted in the book, then I would not mind. However, if it is evident that the author did not properly proofread the book or hire an editor, then I will get quite bothered. This is because I do not want to waste my time noting down numerous errors and I want to complete the book at a quick pace.

I don’t think so.. Few errors here and there is okay.. But if there is an error or two in every paragraph then it’ll definitely bother me. I would not stop reading a good book just because it has errors.

I actually think it's funny when I find errors in professionally edited books. I tend to make a game out of it and see how many errors I can spot in an entire book.

If the error don't mess up with the message that the story is trying to convey, then it's fine. Otherwise, if the errors are major and can't be ignored while reading, then do bother me. One of the reasons why I read is that reading helps me improve my language. So. if a story is not proof read well, it doesn't full that purpose for me. I always prefer professionally edited books.

Too much of them distract me. I can put up with a few of them.

If it's only minor errors, it doesn't bother me much. However, if it's a major one and there are lots of it, it gets annoying and it hinders my reading progress.

Yes. It bothers me too much. The books that are improperly edited are very much irritating to read.

They do bother me, but if I'll only find 2 or 3 in the whole book I can ignore them.

A few very minor errors or typos are tolerable, but yes, I hate glaring errors and they destroy the credibility and professionalism of a work for me. There's a huge difference between a book that is professionally and meticulously put together and a couple small things get by because humans are not perfect (these are still very professional volumes) and a book that is haphazardly thrown together by someone clueless of what real editing and revision are and a plethora of mistakes are present (these are horrendous to read and irksome and if the story isn't fantastic then I stop reading).
