YES! All real true book lovers are book sniffers! My niece is 5 years old and loves to read, just like her aunt, and I caught her sniffing her books! I have never understood it, but man I love the smell of a good book. I used to love walking through the aisles in a book store and smelling the different types of books because they are all different. I am also super weird about the feel of a book’s pages.

I love smelling books because then I have a memory attached to each one. Most books smell different depending on where you buy them from, and sometimes just stepping into that particular bookstore brings back good feelings!

Lol. This is funny.
I guess this is as good as a support group meeting.
I didn't even know it was a thing others do until now. I thought it was just me.
The smell of books- old books, new books, is something.

Yes, I am a book sniffer. I didn't know there are other people who do this.

I definitely am! I sniff the very new books and old books. No in between. My friends consider it to be weird but I love the smell. It's something that couldn't be expressed but it feels good.

Haha yes I sniff every book I read. It smells like petrichor and it is a different level when the book is new.

I am! The old books usually smell great, but one time I bought one from an old guy and only when I went home I had realised it smells awful. I still haven't read that book because 3 years later it still smells bad.

YES! Although, I'm allergic to dust; it doesn't stop me from indulging! Unpopular opinion: New books smell the best!

I love sniffing books both new and old. Before reading a new book, I always sniff the pages.

One of us! that is a guilty pleasure of mine. Just like Hermione Granger, fresh parchment (or rather new books) is an amazing smell. It never lets you down.

I sniff it from the front cover, I will place it on my hands and embrace it weirdly. I sniff it and smile, the smell is magical. My brain likes it.
