Yes! They've even made a perfume that smells like books! I would buy it, but it's ridiculously expensive. I'll link it for anyone who's interested. https://steidl.de/Buecher/Paper-Passion ... 52458.html

Yeah, I love the smell of old books as well as new. There is something that makes it better when they age it gives off this amazing aroma. I even have a candle which gives a similar aroma.

I certainly am, although I thought I was the only one! I can't say it reflects on the quality of the book too much in my experience, but who knows?

Yes! I can't resist going to a bookstore whenever I am at the mall just so I can look at the books and smell them. Also, everytime I have new books, before reading it I usually smell it first.
Stay safe! Sending hugs

I love the smell of old books especially, that mix of dust and musty pages that libraries have is the best smell. Also the smell of new ink and glue that new bookstores have! It is the scent of a new adventure!

(I didn’t include used book stores here because some second hand bookstores unfortunately don’t smell like books, instead they tend to smell like a mixture of feet and cooked broccoli).

There’s something about the smell of books that makes you happy and excited and feel at home - all at the same time.

I'm a secret book sniffer. There's just something about the smell of pages in a new book.

I absolutely love to sniff books! It is part of my first observation of the book. I am not one to put a book back because it smells weird, but it adds a plus to my opinion of the book if it smells amazing! I am definitely one who has to fan the pages to get the best smell from the book. I am also one who likes to bury my face into the book to smell it (however I only bury my face if I own the book because if not...gross lol). Its one of the best things about owning books!

LOLL when I get physical books I don't necessarily, but I do notice the smell when I bring it home and I think it's so comforting. Or if I get books from the library and they have that old book smell, it just feels so nostalgic to me, not sure why :lol2:

Oh, I'm absolutely a book sniffer. You can't beat that special book smell, you know?
In fact, when I was in middle school, I developed the habit of smelling the pages of a book to determine if I'd want to read it or not. If I didn't like the smell, that meant it wouldn't be a good book. :lol2:
