If you want an honest answer it would be hundreds. Maybe 10 or so are actual hard copies of books but the rest are on my nook or on my computer. I get them intending to read them but then I see other ones I want and it just continues to add up. One day I hope to get it down to less then 100 haha

Hundreds, since I have five thigh-high piles waiting for me on my floor, and over a hundred e-books that I haven't gotten around to yet.
Think, believe, manifest.

About 20 on the shelf and about 50 on the ipad. Someday I'll read them all... or I'll just continue to find other books to read first. :)

If we're talking about physical books, usually 3-5 at any given time that have never been read. Once they're read, I usually either send them to the book scanner if I think I'll want to read them again or drop them at goodwill or pass them on to a friend. I have very limited space so I don't store a lot of physical books.

If we're also counting unread e-books, dozens. I pick up free books on amazon when they're being promoted and sometimes it takes me months to get around to reading them because I was only maybe interested but it was free, you know? BUT I've found a lot of new authors that way that I'm in love with.

A whole lot.

I'm thinking that my TBR list is about 20 books now. I keep buying more books than I could read. I'm thinking of going on a book buying ban but who likes not buying new books everyday.

I have about 15 physical books that I have bought but have not read yet. Way too many on my Kindle. It doesn't help that I buy extremely challenging books to read like the works of Freud and James Joyce.
It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.

I would have between 200 and 300 to still read. I live in a very rural location so, when I get chance, I tend to buy a lot at once, plus I can't pass up a bargain either! I have a variety of genre so I can rotate between intense and less intense novels. I have only just become familiar with kindle but, now that I have purchased one, my to-read books have skyrocketed. Hopefully the novelty will wear off soon.

We have hundreds of books and very few have not been read. Either my wife or I have read almost all of them and better than half we have both read.
