Reading on the computer

Reading on the computer is similar to reading on an e-reader device but it is heavier and less "flexible" in the way that you can hold it. I personally always enjoy the physicality of a book but the computer is nice when you want to take notes and such. I will note that the harsh glow of the computer does induce migraines for some.

Reading on the computer is far easier when trying to squeeze a few pages in at work! Otherwise, it can be efficient when writing reviews and needing to make notes.

Having gotten a kindle for the first time, I find it infinitely preferable to my computer. Unless I'm working on a desktop or a larger secondary screen, reading books is near painful at times on my laptop.

Even though paperbooks are the best, I do love reading on my tablet. At times I read from my bed and so using my tablet becomes easier than reading a paperbook but I choose paperbook a thousand times over.

If i have to take excessive notes, I can do with computer books. But in general I do not prefer them.

I do most of my reading for this site on the computer, so I can't say that I don't like the platform. However, I will always prefer solid books.

The most common form of reading is through kindle, nook, or solid books. But some find that reading on the computer is more efficient. What do you think? Do you think your computer is just an over sized e-reader?

I prefer reading on my phone than reading on a PC. But I still could read using a PC.

I have tried reading on my computer but all the blue light from it strains my eyes and I can't read for a long time because my eyes start hurting.

I think I will always prefer to read solid books, there is just no comparison for me. However, I do not mind reading in my computer at all.

I read on the computer when I have no other choice but I prefer to read on my phone as it is more convenient for me.

Reading in computer is good. Easy to scroll and move between pages but prolonged reading will create strain to eyes.
