My favorite genre is horror/suspense. My favorite author hands down is Stephen King. I'm currently rereading the full length version of The Stand.

My favorite genre would definitely be classic British literature. Also some of the classic Americans too like Poe.

I don't think classical really counts as a genre. Sure, it's a different writing style, but there can be classical fantasy, classical romance, and classical mysteries, among others. My favorite genre is fantasy, because it appeals to my sense of adventure, and it gives the author a chance to create an entirely new world. While sci-fi can do this as well, it is almost always restricted by having to involve or mention Earth in some way.

Semi-fictional? I like writers that write what they lived, semi-autobiographical novels, you could say.
