I was just wondering what your favorite genre is.My favorite genre is historical romance(that includes Amish romance and classic romance). Also please tell your favorite author from the genre. My favorite author is Beverly Lewis for Amish romance and I also like Nicholas Sparks for classic romance.What about you?Please vote on the poll.You can change your answer.

My favorite has to be Fantasy and yet my favorite Author is Jane Austen (Fiction).

If you like Historical Romance you may want to read any of Anne Easter Smith's books. She's a great writer and has at least four books out about the British Monarchy (based on real events and real people).

I have always been a sucker for mystery.

I enjoy reading crime novels, or even crime non-fiction books. The details of the crime and how it was solved intrigue me. All the analysis of the evidence is interesting. I find it fascinating how the smallest piece of evidence or DNA from an unlikely place can solve a case.

I pretty much stick with young adult with the occasional romance every now and then

I will be really curious to see what come out of this. For me it's easy to choose! Sci-fi all the way.

I wanted to say Sci-Fi and yet I haven't really read that many Sci-Fi novels. Most of them have been Fantasy. Granted Star Wars is Sci-Fi but

So while I wanted to vote Sci-Fi it turns out I read way more Fantasy than Science Fiction.

I would have to say Historical Romance. I have a few runner ups though; Mystery and Classics being at the top.

Mysteries are my favorite. I also enjoy biographies for a little change.

romantic/dystopian/mysteries

I have more than one, so I can't vote. My favorites are mystery, fantasy, SF and classics. I read all genres except non fiction & erotic.

Hard for me to vote, too. I like classics, non-fiction, historical, mystery, crime, and some sci-fi.

I tend to like young adult, romance, fantasy.

Right now I am reading a lot of Middle Grade and Young Adult because I need to be able to discuss these books with my students. I enjoy Science Fiction and Non-Fiction but don't have as much time to read them.
