I used to read in the car or any sort of transportations, but lately I get quite dizzy when I do so. :x
So I just started listening to audio-books outside of the house or the library instead.

It depends. Sometimes I get dizzy, sometimes I don't. When I don't get dizzy, I can read, which is great.

For me, a good book is a constant companion during long journeys.
It helps me pass my time in a constructive way and often makes my journey all the more interesting.

I don't have the problem of carsickness, but I do fall into inattentiveness since I usually tend to pay closer attention to the road when I'm not driving. On the plane it's easier, since I can't really tell the pilot, "Watch out for that cloud, man!"

I often listen to audiobooks in the car, even on the 5 minute trip to pick up the kids from school!

It is weird if I am in a car, I get car sick, but a bus I am fine and there is also a difference if I have a paperback verse my app on my phone.

I don't like reading anywhere with too many distractions, it has to be somewhere quiet and I'm alone (or with someone who I'm sure wouldn't talk to me while I'm reading). I tried to do it once when I was traveling with my family by car and my parents wouldn't stop talking so I just gave it up. XD

I got in the habit of reading on the schoolbus when I was a young girl. I loved to read and could get most of my homework done before I got home. I had an hour long ride from school. Now I don't get that kind of a chance.

I can't read in the car, on airplanes, or while I'm on anything that is moving; I get extremely motion sick. I haven't gotten into the habit of listening to audio books in the car either, so I generally only get reading done when I'm stopped someplace.

I actually really like to read in the car if I can. If I can, i like to read ebooks on my phone or iPad. Having some titles available to read on the airplane is helpful, especially when traveling across the country or to a foreign country.

I tend to get motion sickness if I try to read while I'm in a car or even a bus. Trains aren't a problem, however, and for that I am thankful.
