RussetDivinity wrote:The library, definitely, but then, I tend to use it for getting out of my apartment to do some writing (and I live right next to a beautiful library that smells like old books, which helps a lot). There's also the fact that I don't have enough money for a bookstore, so I have to borrow my books more often.
I also like to go to the library to work in order to get out of the house. Especially if I find it hard to concentrate. Sometimes the change of scenery is all that is needed to help refocus on the task at hand.

Now, I usually go to the library because when I go to a bookstore, I can't help myself not to buy something. So I try not to go to a bookstore.

I like going to the library! We don't have very many bookstores in my town so it is easier to go to the library or browse online :)

I tend to go to the bookstore, simply because then I can read the book at my leisure and not feel pressured to finish it by its due date. Though sometimes borrowing it is better than purchasing it.

We go to the library at least once a week. I go to the bookstore maybe once a month, although I sometimes buy books online more frequently than that.

I go to the library probably once every two weeks. I go to bookstores more though! Lately my home library has gotten REALLLLYYY full so I'm hoping I can read most of my book before purchasing others. Being a reader is hard:P

I'm a series fiend! When I am interested in a new series I dip my toe in the water by checking it out a at the library. If I loved it I'll buy it to read again later, or just marvel at how awesome that book was. So in truth, it's the library I frequent more often. I know the layout and shelves by heart. Thump thump! That's my heart beating for my public libary.

I tend to reach more for the bookstore because I tend to get easily attached to books so once I read them once I want to keep them just so I could read them over and over again

I also usually go to the library more than bookstores. Most often I read books once, so it saves me a lot of money going to the library! Also, if I choose a book and don't end up enjoying it, then I can easily return it and choose a different one! I can find almost any book I want and I love the feeling of being in a library!

I hate checking books out from the library. It just annoys me because I always forget to turn them back in and then I have to pay. I just buy all the books I want/need. If I don't like them, then I turn them into my local trade in bookstore for store credit and get more books!

Bookstore. I like to own my books in case they become my new favorite.

I tend to go to the bookstore more often because I'm bad at returning books on time. Plus the bookstore has a good coffee shop and comfy chairs.
