I was just curious where people prefer to go to to get books. I usually go to the bookstore.

I live in a country where I can't speak the native language (gah!! Sorry, I know all of you veterans on this site are so sick of hearing about this!!!) so I can't really go to a library around here. There are often some English books in the reference section at the bookstore, so I might browse there more often. However, I spend most of my time browsing free Kindle books. :)

I go to the library once or twice a week. I go to the library more often because I only go to the bookstore once a year.

Library....I am 75 miles away from even a Wal-Mart. So definitely our little island library.

It's amazing the things we take for granted, living in America. I go to the library once or twice a week, and a bookstore approximately twice a month.

Library for sure! I go to the library once a week and hardly go to bookstores. I buy some of my books on line and the rest I get from the library.

Mainly the library. There use to be a bookstore around my house, but it closed done because it wasn't exactly popular. It's a shame because they actually sold English books (Lol, I live in an area that is the melting point for Chinese immigrants).

Bookstore (and book cafe), hands down.
There's a small library in my neighborhood and I browse around to find some gems, tho. Just not enough books to choose from.

I work less than a block away from the library, so I go often, up to four times a week. I live in a town with no bookstore, so I rarely see the inside of one. This makes my husband (and our bank account) very happy. After all, if I bought all the books I borrow from the library, we would never pay the mortgage. That being said, I could build a house out of the books. Hmmm - if I could figure out a way to make it stand up in our climate, I may consider that.

That's right, I have a muse. It is spelled MusE. My writing is influenced by the interactions of people I meet - us and ME.

I like visiting bookstores when I can, but there is only one nearby and I have to drive a good distance to get to it. I live walking distance from the library, but it is VERY small, so the selection is limited. Anymore, I get most of my books through Amazon.

I get most of my books through the library and Amazon. Our closest book store is almost 50 miles away, and by the time you factor in the cost of gas, you might as well just order a print copy from Amazon and pay for shipping because it is going to be cheaper.
