No, I don't do that. I am too careful for my book. I can't even bare a single line or a fold of a page in a whole book. I feel like I am spoiling it. And I don't need to write my name on the book since I am the only one in my family and friends who reads the books.

Only in textbooks that I take into work. I NEVER write in any of my other books.

I never thought about doing this but it seems like a neat idea, especially if it's a book with important ideas. I wonder if they did this with the Arabic books that came from the middle east to the west during the Renaissance. It's kind of like a history of its origin. It would be nice to know who owned all these ancient books.

I used to do this in high school for my novels I was reading in class, but I have yet to write my name in any of my books recently. I do like when I get handed down books with names in them though. I think it adds character.

I do not write anything inside my books. Ever. I'm a collector, so I like to keep my books in pristine, yet well-read condition.

No, I don't write my name inside my book cover. I don't do this because I usually pass the book on to other people and if I do that I just prefer not to have my name it in.

The only time I put my name inside the book cover is when I lend out the book and I want it returned back to me. I have to put it back into my library... Pretty anal.

I dont, not even back when I had textbooks, I never understood the reason for writing in a book.

I mostly read ebooks right now, but I've never written my name on a book, just the ones for school, and that was usually in erasable pen.

Yes, I do this often, just to mark my territory and for school.

Absolutely not! I don't like writing in books like at all. I like them in pristine condition.

No. I have never written my name inside the book. I usually don't like to write anything on the pages. But most of my books come from second-hand stores. So, they already have some names or messages on them.

Not at all, I do not even mark a point on pages, that is inappropriate.
