Mostly I read electronic books, so there is no need for that.

No I don't, since I want to be able to sell the book once I'm done.

I don't write my name inside my book cover, I feel as if it take from it. Instead, I sign my initials at a corner of the last page of the book. Just to leave a mark that it was once mine.

No I do not do this to my book. If I were to lend a book I would write my name on a sticky note.

Yes. Name and signature, sometimes with the date.

I think it's more of a habit to mark my own books.

Because of limited space, there's always a chance I'll end up selling the book. I probably won't sell my Narnia books, but even then, I'd rather not put my name. Sometimes I might underline a line I like though.

I've been using a bookswap service recently and noticed that people have been writing their name and location on the inside cover. I really like the idea and have started doing it myself.

I don't write anything in books! They remain untarnished aside from the bending that happens while reading. That's part of why I love Kindle books, I can highlight without doing any desecration :)
