I love it when a book can get me that sucked into it that I end up staying up reading a lot later then I should. Typically if that happens I've lost all track of time in the first place. It's odd how books like that seems to be moving along a lot quicker in my head then books that I don't lose track of time with.

All the time. It's such a dangerous thing, books that are good enough to keep you from sleep. I still do it now, which is terrible because sometimes I work in the mornings.

If a book is worth it, I'll always choose reading it over sleeping.

I know I definitely have! I remember when I was 13 I was reading Harry Potter and I just couldn't stop. It was my first all nighter. My mother was livid, it was a school night... I like reading at night. Less activity, I like to end my day with a good book, so it's really probable that I stay up reading especially if the plot is addictive.

Never read the whole night, but occasionally I will stay up a bit later to finish a book

Oh my gosh. I think in the last 6 months I've pulled 3 all nighters. It's not good. I always feel horrible at work on no sleep but I know I'll probably do it again. I never regret reading the book. I do wish I had made the smart decision and put the book down earlier.

Do you use coffee or something?! 😂 I always want to stay up late to read but am prone to falling asleep mid-sentence!

When I was younger this was something I would to constantly. Now I have to force myself to accept that I have to get some sleep to function as a mother and human being towards my family.

Lol I am usually heavily caffeinated yes  I average 5 hours of sleep most nights. I literally count the hours thinking I can manage on 4 hours that's not so bad, then 3 then 2 then oh well I'll get ready for work in a few min.

Yes. If I'm close to finishing a book, it's especially hard to go to sleep before I'm done. I've stayed up til 3am many times to read, then somewhat regretted it when my alarm went off.

I have read a couple of books that kept me up all night. Time flew by so fast I had no idea when the the night changed into day.

As a kid, I was always getting in trouble for reading when I was supposed to be asleep. I would constantly be reminded that I shouldn't read in low light because it's bad for your eyes (but it's not true), so they would get me a reading light. Talk about mixed signals!
