Yes, I usually am multitasking because this is where I'll find most of my extra time. For example, folding laundry, eating, waiting on the computer, or while I cook. I just can't really do it if I'm watching something.

I can multitask while doing almost anything else, but not while I am reading! And I wouldn't want to!

I tend to do that a lot but reading always ends up loosing because after a while (maybe a long one), I end up closing the book and may have to read the pages over again. It's a hard thing to do anyway.

I read while knitting or crocheting, and while watching TV. I can't stand not doing something with my hands. For a long time I thought I would never be comfortable with an e-reader but I think the thing that finally sold me on getting on was not having to hold the book open while reading. I can get so much more done that way.☺️

It's a big no for me. I can't do anything else while I am reading. I can't concentrate. Many times, I tried multitasking and after some pages, I had to read again.

I might could, but I prefer not to. The purpose of reading for me is to get lost in a good book.

This is the funniest post I've come across. It made me spit my coffee. :)

I can barely multitask while listening to an audio-book. Forget about a physical book.

No! Multitasking is detrimental to bringing in all the beautiful words the author has crafted for our enjoyment! Just sit down and read, let your mind focus on the task at hand.

I'm great at multitasking- essential in my job- however not while reading, I would keep losing my line and not be entirely focused on the story
