Can you do multitask while reading
But i have seen many ones multi tasking while reading...

I personally cannot do this, and I must read with singular focus. To the point that I can't take a book to the doctor's waiting room or read in the car (as a passenger, of course), because I have other things on my mind then. I've tried reading in those situations, but it never works out. Magazines work in those instances, though. (Design or woodworking or art magazines--nothing with serious articles--those would also require my singular focus.)
