My favorite Agatha Christie novels are generally the ones featuring Hercule Poirot. He always adds a little extra character to the book and himself and Hastings give off definite Sherlock Holmes and Watson nostalgia. Poirot is a funny, eccentric character who always gets his man (or woman).
