If you could be a character from any novel that you've ever read, who would you choose to be?

My answer is probably pretty unoriginal but as I was 11 years old when the first Harry Potter book was published, I couldn't help but wish I was also an 11 year old wizard...

In a series I have read by Ray Celestin who is based in London but has set this series of three books in three different American cities. New Orleans, Chicago and New York. The series starts with The Axman, followed by Dead Man's Blues, and finally by the Mobsters Lament. Genre Historical Fiction Crime Mystery. One of the main characters is a young Louis Armstrong. I would like to be Ida, a woman of color who is a brilliant and feisty investigator.

For a moment, I considered picking a character that didn't suffer much... then I realized that that included very few characters, and also wouldn't be very interesting to talk about, haha. Any of the four main characters of the Spirit Animal series would be cool, but if I had to choose one, then probably Rollan. His spirit animal is an eagle, and he is able to share sight with said eagle– I think it'd be really cool to "experience" flying through that and I also think birds are just cool in general!

There are many characters which I like according to different types of personalities, but I think I like to be Richard Gansey from The Raven Boys. He's got a cool character, the type of a leader in a boys group and he is intelligent in search of answers.
Also I can't hold myself from mentioning Prince Cardan in my favorite book ( The Creul Prince ). He has an amazing character, first being a cruel Prince to a girl and then falling in love with her. He is funny, brave and very charming.

Perhaps "Frieren"? I enjoy the peaceful and calm life in it. I also feel like I understand the process of her learning to be human. Hehe
