I have also caught myself doing this. Sometimes it varies on how quick I'm able to catch myself. I think it happens to me when I'm in need of a little break from reading.

Yes. And that's usually when I know I am pushing it. It sometimes helps to start whispering the words out a bit, it brings my mind back. Normally taking a little break is what helps me the most.

This happens to me a lot. It's annoying, especially when I have deadlines to meet, but I've found that after the first few pages the struggle subsides, and I'm more focused on what I'm reading.

This happens to me seldomly. I just read same lines repeatedly without understanding. I take a break or put my finger on the words I read to stop that.

Yea, that sometimes happens to me when I’m reading a boring part.

This has happened to me before as well. Not as much with fiction books. I have a wandering mind so sometimes it is difficult for me to stay focused if what I am reading isn't that interesting. 😂

This has definitely happened to me before! It usually only happens when I’m not that invested in the book though. I usually catch myself after roughly a few paragraphs. If it happens a second time, I take a break, get up, walk around, and get a drink. After that I can more easily focus.

No, somehow, I have never blindly read a book before.

Yes. It happens sometimes. You will get away with the reading and you won't even realise you have read few lines without thinking anything in your mind.

It sometimes happens to me. Usually it's about half a page only, sometimes a page. Sometimes even the book causes it. I start thinking about something it brought up and try to continue reading at the same time.

I think this can happen with TV books your cell phone. Your mind just gets tired with these ocular activities and that's okay. I would say when you feel this occurring close your eyes look away there is a rule after 20 minutes look at something 20 ft away for 20 seconds and your eyes will readjust.

Yup. It happens pretty often during exposition or when I’m just tired.

It used to happen to me a lot with textbooks. I either would lose interest or have a brain overload. It hasn't really happened recently. I read a lot of fiction. If I read non-fiction it is something I am interested in not being forced to read.

It happens to me a lot, especially when I am feeling sleepy

It has happened to me before. I call it 'zoning' as I zone out for a little while. It is usually just a few minutes and usually when I am stressed.
