More of movies than pictures, though not for every little detail. When I'm in the mood I can focus on certain scenes more intensely.

I don't just see pictures in my head, I see a whole movie as the plot goes, it is pretty vivid, so much so that if the book is made into a movie, I compare what I imagined to the actual movie. I guess I can say I have a pretty vivid imagination.

If the story is well written and the concept is understandable, I'll be able to imagine it. At time I think how can I just stare at a page with words written on it and imagine it all, at times I think that isn't normal.

Absolutely yes. Most of the time I can literally imagine the whole situation while reading, but it still depends on how the author is narrating the story.

For the most part I do visualize the text, but sometimes the picture is more vague or intense depending on the writing style, content and urgency of what is happening... I guess it is like a vague-ish backdrop that floats in the back of my mind as I read.

Yes. Especially with very good descriptions, I can replay the book like a movie in my head.

Absolutely! But is that even a question? Because isn't it how it is supposed to be ? The more your picturise, doubles the fun itself but i also believe that it completely depends on the book too.
