I like the idea of e-books sounding more environmentally friendly ( saving paper and all). Personally though, I prefer to have the real thing in my hands and in my collection.

I like both -- ebooks for their quick availability. I love being able to do a search and find an ebook, buy it and be able to start reading it within seconds. However I still do love reading a paperback/hard copy. I usually only pick up hard copies of books of favor author. I will also purchase a book in hard copy if, even if I purchased it in ebook, of books I love.

I have an eReader, and I love it. It's very useful, but I will, however, always prefer Hard books. Their smell, their looks, holding them, having a whole room full of them, to me it's uncomprable. Hard books, all the way!

I prefer to have the physical book so that I can feel the satisfaction of turning the pages and adoring it on my shelf. The only reason I would ever read a book on an electronic device would be if I already owned the physical copy and it was free.

I prefer a physical book over an ebook. Although I have been getting more into ebooks recently.

If I am trying new series or just reading a single book I always go e-book. For series that I have been reading for a long time I go for a hard-copy. If I like a series I read in e-book format I will sometimes get a hardcopy as well.

Ugh I hate all this new technology! How sad will it be when the last book is ever sold. It sure seems to be going that way :(

Honestly, I love both versions. Truthfully, I love the feel of a book in my hand but I dont always have the ability to keep a book with me. So, my phone comes in handy with the ebooks. Real books however have a smell about them that makes it so genuine unlike books on a screen.

I love all of the free public domain books that I can read. It is like having a library in your phone! That being said, I prefer paperbacks for the books I love and hardbacks for the ones I can't live without!

I choose hard book, simply because you cant beat the smell and feel of the pages and holding it in your hands while curled up by the fire...it just brings me back to a place when I was a child...

I love the feel of hard books over the tablet for certain.
