In terms of price, e-books are preferable to hardcover. Still, the hardcover reading experience far outweighs the digital e-reader experience.

Hard books for me but when it comes to travelling, then e-books.

I have a Kindle, but I find I enjoy hard book...actually holding the book and turning the pages is much better!

I prefer hardcover. Even though hardcover books are heavy to carry around, I love to touch and feel the book while reading. I cannot get that feel in e-books.

Hardcover, of course. It is something I can feel and touch.

Its hard not to go with the easier option, which is the e-book. They are accesible just about everywhere and cheaper too.

I go with ebooks most of the time. They are cheaper and convenient to carry around. You can carry even a thousand copies of digital copies with someone even noticing.

I don't hate e-books because I prefer them for book reviewing, but for books that I would live to collect and add to my library, I would prefer a hard cover book.

I like the convenience of e-books and the fact that they take up little space. Although, I can't deny that nothing does compare to hardcopy. The feel of paper as I turn pages is just...so good.

I prefer to read hard cover books. I love the feel of a book in my hands. There is just something about turning a page. I like to use a cool bookmark. I have a Kindle and use it on occasion. I use it when I go on a long trip so I don't have to pack all of the books. But I just love holding a book the best.

I prefer paperbacks over e-books, but prefer e-books over hardbacks out of convenient.

Definitely hard books for me!!!! There's just a certain magic to it, lol or maybe it's just me. Except for the amazing smell of a hard book, I love to feel of the book. Then of course when it's a book with 400+ pages I'm in heaven .... With the ebook format you lose out on all of that.

I know hard books feel real but I have to admit that e-books are much easier. I can find my highlights and comments faster, and I can read in a low-lit environment.

Ebooks have facilitated book availability. Now you can carry a thousand books on your phone and read at any you need. Personally I like hard books but I appreciate the simplicity of ebooks.
