I read at an average pace, I think. I do read word by word though. I don't like scanning books, one could easily miss out on important information. I do scan through online articles however.

It depends on that book and the writing style of the author. If I'm interested in the book I'll read it word by word and if I can't find it interested I just scan that pages one after another.

I read books word-by-word for sure. To me what's the fun of reading if I have to scan the book rather than reading it properly.

For me, it depends. A lot of times, I just scan the book. I am such a fast reader that I can pick up what is going on by just scanning. However, if I feel like I am missing a point or aspect of the storyline, I will slow down to a word-by-word basis.

I read the book word-by-word if it is an interesting read. I scan it if it is boring.

Even though I'm a fast reader, I still read word by word.

I read them word by word. I don't scan cause then I cannot delve and understand what is going on.

I hate scanning a book, I read every single word or I don't read at all.

I read word-by-word for the most part because I do not want to miss anything. But if the book is bad and filled with unnecessary paragraphs, I will just glance over the said paragraphs.

I do not like missing out on details. I will always read a book word for word, and plus it is necessary to do that on this platform so you can give rich reviews.

This largely depends on why I'm reading the book, and if the book is interesting. If I'm reading for leisure and the book is boring, I often skim to see if it gets better later on. If I have to read the book, then word for word is my go to. Generally, I try to read books word for word. I find that I absorb more this way.

Basically it depends on the manner of the book. If it's a boring book, I just scan it, but if it's a valuable book I don't wanna miss a single dot.

I scan the book. The book doesn’t loose enjoyability and it allows me to read more of it faster.
