I always try to support my local used book store. They are slowly fading away as are places like Barnes & Noble because readers are able to order books via the internet. If I can't find the book there they are lovely enough to order it for me. Sometimes though I throw out a "in search of" on my local town's sell site on FB and see if anyone has the book they are willing to sell. Audiobooks are different. I use the Kindle Unlimited app on my phone for those. Don't like meddling with CDs at the library.

I do lots of books from Amazon. If I want to buy a "real" book though I go to books a million. The stuff there is overpriced but the people are always nice (at least at my one) and I like the way everything is set up. It also never hurts to get a cup of coffee from Jo Muggs while your there ;).

I get tons of books from the library. I have cards to both libraries in my county, plus two local liberal arts colleges and a third university that I actually attend. I don't have much of a budget for books, so if I find something I want I usually scour Amazon or discount book site. I also hit up Goodwill on tag days. During the summer I go to garage/yard/estate sales. My community also has a book drive that lasts about a week and near the end of it you can stuff bags full of books and only pay a dollar for the bag, which is the best!

I get my books from Thriftbooks.com, Christianbooks.com, a thrift store in town, the library when they have their book sales and surprisingly at the VA hospital when I take my father-in-law for his check ups.

Amazon! I have a whole wish list of books, and have several, if not dozen, books sitting in my bookshelf requiring my attention.

I got them on local book stores, on shops with used books, from friends, on e-bay, Amazon and from my family.

My friends say that I have a supplier, when in actuality it's my mom who buys and I borrow. I typically go to Barnes and Noble or use my Nook app on my phone. I have also purchased at Wal-Mart if I can find something I am interested in. There is a little bookstore about 30 minutes from my house that I like to frequent to see what they have. I am not a picky person when it comes to getting my book fix. I do like to have the paperback books verses the electronics.

I normally get my books from Amazon using Prime, or Barnes and Noble if I need it asap and don't want to wait 2 days.

Amazon for ebooks and BookDepository for paperbacks, since I'm from Argentina and they have free shipping.

I also do reviews on my blog, so I get many books from the authors directly.

Lately I'm getting most of them on the "reduced" tables at Chapters, because I walk through there to get to my retail job. One of these days I really want to visit the three indie bookstores in this city instead ...

I get my books from my local Barnes and Nobles store and the used bookstore down the road. I can get four paperback books for maybe two dollars! I have so many books now, I need to get a second bookshelf...

I usually stock up on books during the summer yard sale season, usually not spending more than a dollar each. Then, I do browse at GoodWill and Salvation Army for books, also, not spending more than a dollar each. If a book store at a mall has a clearance sale, I browse there.

The above is where I purchase if I purchase.

However, usually, I loan books from the library. Free is even better!
