I love Half Price books, the clearance shelves at the back are where I got a good percentage of the books I own. And I love library sales but didn't think about estate sales, that's a great idea! lately though I've mostly been reading on Kindle since I don't have enough space at home for more books which makes me very sad

Crossword bookstores, book sales at bookstores, borrowing from the library, buying from the sale at the library, etc.

Usually from Amazon, or rarely, ABE books.

Once in a great while, I will get to a library for its used book sale. I feel lucky if I can something that I would read, however.

I noticed that thrift stores will sometimes have a good or interesting book for sale.

I usually get my books from Books-A-Million. The atmosphere there is really relaxing and nice, and I can just wander around the aisles filled with all kinds of books. It’s a place I go to when I’m bored and/or want to get out of the house. Of course, I also use Amazon for the convenience of it.

I get most of my books in a bookstore and usually that bookstore is Barnes and Noble because I have yet to find a little bookstore in my area that is not a huge company and holds books that I like to read.

Anywhere I see a stand of books on display for sale or at a bookstore. Really anywhere I find books on sale.

I only read e-books so I mostly get my books through amazon. I have a membership to amazon and get a lot of free or discounted books. Usually will get an email from a website called bookbub and they send me deals on books from authors you would never hear about so it’s a great way to explore new authors as well. You can also pick what genres you would like to receive.

This sounds exactly like me! Although sometimes I'll order from Book Depositary because the prices can be just as good.

I don't have a specific place as long as I get books to read. Old book stores, e-books, sales. It's a huge struggle to buy a new book every time that too hardcover. I would love too but I can't. There are many great suggestions in this thread. Thanks, everyone
