I think I’ve read Having a Mary Heart in a ‘Seth’s World three times now. (I’m obviously not learning my lesson). But I have books on my shelf that I’d love to read again either by myself or with my girls. Daddy Long Legs is one. Rebecca is another. To Kill a Mockingbird was one I taught back in the day, so I guess I’ve actually read that 6 times.

If asked what book from my experience, of course books that are religiously themed especially those related to mysteries like Detective Conan it always gets me again and again.

I have read the Anne of Green Gables series so many times I can practically recite them from heart. Another of my favorites is my collection of Sherlock Holmes, both books and the anthology of his short stories. But, honestly, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit as well as Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy have had to be replaced 3 times because they fall apart from being read so much.

One book which I'd been assigned to read way way back in high school yet couldn't get through it was George Orwell's classic '1984' . Then, perhaps by serendipity because it was THAT VERY SAME YEAR, I tried reading it ( for the fun of it ) again . . . and couldn't put it down! Since then ( that strange year ) it's been one of my all-time favorites and I have read and re-read it several fun-filled times!!!!

I reread Between Sundays constantly. It’s a wonderful unlikely romance between a famous football player and a social worker. It will take you through a rollercoaster of emotions and you will fall head over heels in love with the characters. Between Sundays is one of the best stories Karen Kingsbury has ever written.

I reread Palace of Illusions by Chitra Lekha Banerjee at least once a year. Its a retelling of the Mahabharata epic but from Panchaali's point of view. Panchaali is a princess that was married to 5 brothers at the same time. It's a great book.

I've gone back to read A Departure from the Script by Rochelle Hollander Schwab several times over the past 20 years. I read it when I need something fairly light, a pick-me-up. The main character goes from living a life driven by routine to exploring who she is as an adult who wants more out of life, just as her grown daughter is about to get married. It definitely puts me into an overall happy place while reading it.

'A guide to the birds of East Africa' by Nicholas Drayson. I've read it countless times and still enjoy it. Great book.

I reread the "To kill a mockingbird" the most. It is something about the childish theme as well as the adult topics that are being approached in this book, that makes me wanna rearead it all over again.
