775 unique and 1001 with re-reading (I am addicted to reading stats). I use Goodreads since 2013 and I think I did pretty good job adding my previous reads. Add to that 1898 volumes of manga and 52 of comics. I chose to track those separately to not mess up my statistics.

Back in 2021, I created a new Goodreads and Storygraph account and only counted the books I read that I still remember somehow, at least either the gist of the story or of how it made me feel. I felt like those were the only ones that count, although I also agree when some say everything we consume affects us in ways we cannot completely know. My intention was to start reading seriously, even if that meant taking it slow to digest them, and I've always been a slow reader. As Sontag puts it, "Love words, agonize over sentences." With this as my guiding principle when reading, I read 10 books that year, and 14 books last year. I'm still in my 20s and I've probably read around 150 books. When I started the new account, there are 74 in total.

I only started keeping count last year (because I did a 50 book challenge). So I'm only counting from there! aprox. 55 by now... But probably over 300 or so my whole life.

There are times when I read like crazy, then times when I don't at all. My guess would be around 100, as I don't track them at all. There are also books that I read and may learn nothing from, so I don't usually count those as the ones I've read. What's the point of reading if you don't understand a word?

I've read countless number of books ever since I learnt how to read and write. I'd say it's 500+. I used to borrow books from my neighbour, went from door to door to ask for books. It's something I loved doing and I don't regret because it has shaped me into becoming part of who I am.

I have been an avid reader since the age of five, and over the years, I have enjoyed countless books that have taken me on incredible adventures and expanded my knowledge on various subjects. While I cannot provide an exact count, I estimate that I have read well over a thousand. Regardless of the exact number, I believe that reading is a lifelong pursuit that enriches one's mind and soul.

I enjoy reading, I usually don’t count the books I read. So at least 500 books I read including ebooks.
