I prefer paperback books because they are so much easier to handle.

Personally, I like a paperback. Not only are they so much cheaper, but I also feel like they are easier to travel with.

I like reading paperbacks more but I like hardcovers better because they tend to look prettier on the bookshelf.

I like paperbacks they are lighter. I usually use clear wrapping shrink wrap to cover it. It prevents any damage.

I guess it kind of depends on why I'm reading. If it's to relax I prefer a paperback because I can curl up with the book somewhere comfortable and not worry about the hardcover poking me. If it's something I'm learning and will most likely be sitting at a table or possibly be highlighting text then I want a hardcover so it can lay flat. But, I will take whatever I can get.

I don't really mind but I'd go for hard cover because it'll be easy to place on the shelf.

Paperback for most novels and other fiction.
Hardback for most non fiction.
Not sure why I do this. Now I am trying to figure out why the difference. :)

I think paperback is a much more preferred option. Yes you can read on a Kindle or a tablet, but that does not provide the same feeling. I think I might be a narc, because I absolutely enjoy the fresh smell of paper from books. It may also be characteristic of my nature as a bookworm.

I kind of like it when they get bent up. It makes them look "loved"!
